"This park features 5 hectares of pond and play area. The trail that winds around the park gives a wonderful view and insight into the different species of wild fowl that make this their home. The Mute Swans live in the park year round. These are different from the indigenous Trumpeter Swans, in that they were imported to our country many years ago, and have made Canada their permanent home. The park is also a winter sanctuary for many species of wild fowl that do not stay for the summer.
The pond is stocked with trout twice a year by the Ministry of Fisheries. Children under 16 years and Seniors, over 65, can fish without a permit year round."
