Crescent Beach - About mid-way along the length of Crescent Beach's waterfront, just around the point at the foot of Sullivan Street, is the site of Crescent Beach Swimming Club. The club was formed around 1912, and still operates today, providing instructional and competitive swimming.
Many of the residences in the area stand as testaments of thriving turn of the century lifestyles. There are quite a few buildings dating from between 1910-1920, and the Surrey Museum and Archives publishes a detailed tour guide which takes in the entire area. Surrey Archives also maintains archival resources which are available to the public.
