The event was held at the Clarke Foundation Theatre at Heritage Park Secondary Schhol. The introduction by Mission's Mayor Abe Neufeld, lead-in by members of the First Nations, followed by a talk by Robert Bateman based on his art and conservation of nature, the intermission with signing by Robert and followed by music performed by the Celtic group Tiller's Folly (a Musical Heritage Group), who performed at the wedding of Robert Bateman's son. There were displays in the hallway leading to the theatre by the Watershed Stewardship Groups.
